Best loadouts in Enotria The Last Song: Masks, Perks, Weapons, and more

Ain't nothing standing in your way.

The loadout system gives players tons of variety when creating a build, but optimizing one to its full potential can be confusing and take work. This guide covers the best loadouts in Enotria: The Last Song including Masks, Perks, Lines, Weapons, and more.

Best loadouts in Enotria: The Last Song

There are essentially two different “build” types you can make in Enotria The Last Song: Melee and Ardore Power/Elemental. Luckily, you can make both of these builds in a single playthrough due to the loadouts system.

While it’s possible to have three loadouts equipped at a time, I recommend only focusing on two so you don’t waste resources and can make the two primary loadouts as strong as possible. In the following sections, you’ll discover how to make the best Melee and Ardore Power loadouts.

Best Melee loadout

Below is everything you should equip to create a strong melee build that makes all encounters a cakewalk.

Best melee Mask

Heavy attacks are key when it comes to defeating the game’s toughest enemies and bosses. With this in mind, you want to use a Mask that focuses on improving this type of attack. The Mask of Change allows you to deal more weapon damage through heavy attacks. Additionally, your Physical Power is increased while awakened. In other words, the Mask of Change is the best Mask to use for a melee build as it’ll increase overall damage output.

Best melee Weapon

There’s no question that Colossal Greatswords are the best weapons in Enotria: The Last Song. They offer the highest damage output and have the potential to stun the enemy, opening up windows for attack. The weapon I recommend for the best melee loadout is the Colossal Greaser, a Colossal Greatsword that can be found very early on in your playthrough.

The Colossal Greaser can be found on the beach below the major bridge leading to the city in the first region of the game. You can reach this area by taking the ladder leading down to the beach from the Lower Commons checkpoint.

Best melee Perks

Bruiser Perks Enotria The Last Song

As for perks, you want to focus on unlocking nodes in the Bruiser section of the Path of Innovators. Bruiser perks focus on negating damage from enemies while increasing your damage output. Still, there are other perks you should equip in other sections of the Path of Innovators that also can be useful. Below are my recommendations for the best perks to equip to create the best melee loadout in Enotria.

  • Armored Amber (Bruiser): Using the Armonia Amber briefly increases your Physical Defense and grants you Super Armor for the same duration.
  • Layer of Thorns (Bruiser): Suffering melee damage causes the attacker to sustain physical damage in return.
  • Path of Preservation (Bruiser): Dealing damage with a weapon briefly increases your Physical Defense. This effect can stack.
  • Path of Fury (Bruiser): Dealing damage with a weapon briefly increases your Physical Power. This effect can stack.
  • Path of Destruction: (Battlemage): Mask Lines charge up slower but deal more damage.
  • Annihilator (Trickster): Your weapon attacks have a chance to deal increased damage.

Best melee Aspect

Aspects are used to increase, or decrease, individual stats for your character. When it comes to creating the best melee loadout, you’ll want to equip an Aspect that raises your health (Bruiser), while not decreasing attack power (Assassin). The Aspect I recommend picking is the Aspect of the Bruiser, which raises your Bruiser stat by 8 and increases Maximum Health by 3.3%. You can get the Aspect of the Bruiser by defeating the Sunken Colossus boss in Falesia Magna.

Best melee Mask Lines

Lines For Melee Build Enotria The Last Song

Last but not least, it’s time to pick the best Mask Lines for a solid melee loadout. This honestly comes down to preference and your playstyle, but below are the ones I’d go with for the highest damage.

  • Iron Impact: Summon a massive hammer and perform a short sequence of devastating attacks.
  • Taranta: Summon a massive hammer and swing it like a pinwheel, damaging anyone you come into contact with.
  • Wave of Ardore: Summon an Ardore Polearm and perform a violent downward slam, unleashing a powerful shockwave.
  • Veemenza Elementale: Violenty stomps the ground, unleashing a physical shockwave that increases Ardore and Physical and Elemental Damage for a short duration.

All of these Mask Lines are designed to deal tons of damage while also helping with crowd control if you’re fighting a group of enemies.

Best Elemental loadout

Below you’ll learn how to create a loadouts that inflicts high damage through Mask Lines, inflict enemy’s weakness upon them, and deal massive elemental damage.

Best Elemental Mask

Since the main focus of this loadout is to maximize Ardore Power and Elemental Damage, you’ll want to equip a mask that compliments that. Vermiglio’s Mask increases your Ardore Power for a short duration after performing an Ardore Bust. Considering you can execute an Ardore Burst at any time, this is extremely helpful. You can acquire Vermiglio’s Mask after defeating Vermiglio near the Crimson Cloister checkpoint in Quinta.

Best Elemental Weapon

Since we are focusing on elemental damage for this loadout, the best weapon to equip is one that comes with an element already attached. The Red-Hot Skewer Polearm is the perfect choice here as it applies both Fatuo and Vis. Fatuo is applied through a perk we will cover later, and Vis is applied by the weapon’s heavy attack.

Players can unlock the Red-Hot Skewer weapon by obtaining the Catacombs Key in Quinta and opening the gate next to the Old Ruler’s Crypt checkpoint in Quinta. You’ll need to complete the combat challenge in this room to unlock the Red-Hot Skewer.

Best Elemental Perks

Using the right perks is important when it comes to creating a strong elemental loadout. You’ll mostly want to invest in the Battlemage and Elementalist sections of the Path of Innovators, as those nodes focus on elemental damage through weapon infusions, increasing Mask Lines potential, and more. Here are the best perks for an Ardore build in Enotria.

  • Gratia, Fatuo, Vis, Malanno Path (Elementalist): Upon casting the Mask Line equipped in a specific slot, your weapon is briefly infused with the path selected.
  • Infusion Master (Elementalist): While your weapon is infused, you deal increased elemental damage.
  • State of Harmony (Elementalist): Increases the duration of all weapon infusions.
  • Path of Spellcasting (Battlemage): Mask Lines charge up faster but deal less damage.
  • Inner Abundance (Battlemage): Casting any Mask Line heals you by a portion of your Max Health.
  • Transcendence (Battlemage): While your health is below a certain threshold, your Ardore Power is increased.

You may have noticed that I put four options as the first perk. The reason is because these should be swapped depending on what area you’re exploring and which enemies you’re facing. For example, if you’re fighting against an enemy or boss that is weak to Vis, then you want to have the Vis Path equipped. Whichever one you have equipped will infuse your weapon with that specific element.

Best Elemental Aspect

Aspect For Ardore Build Enotria Last Song

The best Aspect for an elemental build in Enotria: The Last Song is the Aspect of Vermiglio. This useful Aspect increases your Elementalist stat by 17 and Battlemage stat by 4. Additionally, your Ardore power, Elemental Power, and Status Power are all increased by 3.3%. This will make your Mask Lines, standard attacks, and weapon infusions much stronger.

Best Elemental Mask Lines

As for Mask Lines, you want to select ones that inflict an element. Better yet, you should have each Mask Line cover one specific element, so you are always prepared for an enemy’s weakness. For example, here are great picks for an Ardore loadout.

  • Mystic Lights: Summon a Magister’s Staff and conjure multiple Gratia orbs that relentlessly chase enemies.
  • Plagued Lights: Summon a Gondolier’s Oar and conjure multiple Malanno orbs that relentlessly chase enemies.
  • Deadly Breath: Concentrate the power of Vis in your lungs and let it all out, dealing damage to anyone in its path.
  • Funeral Blaze: Summon the Red Prior’s scepter and perform a violent downward slam, unleashing a shockwave aligned with the Fatuo element.

With this Mask Line setup, you’ll cover each of the four elements, allowing you to be prepared for anything the game throws your way.

That’s all there is to know about creating the best loadouts in Enotria: The Last Song. Stay tuned, we’ll have a guide on all Mask locations and their effects on the PC Invasion site soon enough.
