How to unlock Power Armor in Fortnite, explained

Flesh is weak.

In Fortnite, we can finally wear the T-60 Power Armor, the set seen in the Fallout Show and games. It comes in three styles, and each one must be unlocked before use, so here are all the Power Armor sets in Fortnite and how to get them.

How to get all Power Armor in Fortnite

Power Armor in Fortnite is only available as a skin. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to find it around on the map like many anticipated. However, the Power Armor does go great with the Nitro Fists.

Naturally, these T-60 Power Armor skins aren’t for buying, but for earning on the Battle Pass. Chapter 5 Season 3’s Battle Pass is up, and as you earn levels, you’ll earn progress toward unlocking the Power Armor.

There are three sets of Power Armor to earn, so get completing those missions for what are now my favorite Fortnite skins.

Contrary to what lots of players wanted, you won’t be able to mix and match parts of the Power Armor like you can in Fallout. Each skin is a static skin that doesn’t have any customizations. This is quite a shame, but honestly, the skins look so cool I’m not really that mad about it.

Each Power Armor skin can be used in Battle Royale, Fortnite Festival, and Rocket Racing. There are no LEGO variations, so you won’t be able to use any Power Armor skin in LEGO Fortnite.

Despite being Power Armor, they only serve cosmetic purposes. So no super strength, I’m afraid. Now that we’re all squared up on what to expect, let’s learn how we can get them.

The classic grey T-60 Power Armor will require a lot of work. Here are the unlock requirements:

  • Reach level 54
  • 9 Battle Stars

The Hot Rod T-60 Power Armor looks even cooler, with a flashy red paint job. Here are the unlock requirements:

  • Reach level 62
  • 9 Battle Stars

Black Knight T-60 Power Armor

The Black Knight T-60 Power Armor looks incredibly imposing and isn’t on the regular Battle Pass. You’ll find this dark knight in the Bonus Rewards section, on Page 2. Here are the unlock requirements:

  • Claim all Battle Pass rewards
  • Claim all Bonus Rewards Page One rewards
  • 20 Battle Stars

The Black Knight T-60 Power Armor will take a considerable amount of time to unlock, so make sure to take your time, or else you’ll burn out and will never get it.

Now that you know all about earning these three Power Armor sets in Fortnite, you can go ahead and dominate the wasteland which starts by modding vehicles.
